How the Individual Managed Asset Program Works

Our Team Approach

Hanson McClain manages client assets as a team, combining all Advisor input to reach a sensible conclusion.  Our internal Investment Committee consists of our most experienced Financial Advisors. Review the Advisor credentials and you will see an extensive list of the financial planning designations, including some of the highest attainable in our industry. The team approach, as opposed to the solo broker model, is a substantial client advantage.  The formal decision-making process is designed to eliminate the potential for individually skewed assumptions and provide the benefit of a synthesis of expert perspectives.

Quantitative vs. Qualitative Metrics

Hanson McClain bases our methodology on both quantitative as well as qualitative metrics to identify investment tools for a well-balanced portfolio.  Our quantitative analysis includes a series of statistical parameters that our advisory team uses when selecting the investment tools that best suit our clients’ objectives.  We also incorporate several qualitative factors that include whether or not the manager’s strategy aligns with what Hanson McClain believe will add value to our portfolios.  Returns are an important consideration, but many investors disregard risk, especially in a good market.

Strategic Portfolio Reviews

An investment portfolio is not a static entity.  In order to continue to maximize returns on our clients’ investments, it is essential we maintain continuous relationships with clients so we may perform critical portfolio rebalancing.  We schedule a periodic review of goals, assessment of risk tolerance and analysis of current portfolio allocations, communicated routinely with our clients.
