Dave Cox

Dave Cox joined Hanson McClain in 1996 as a Financial Advisor because he wanted to be associated with a company that was "on the move" while at the same time cared about the client first and foremost. Dave could tell that Scott and Pat had great vision and passion. Hanson McClain was a great fit. Dave says that “Hanson McClain has met and exceeded my expectations.”

Dave’s integrity and ability to develop investment strategies was soon recognized, and he was promoted to vice president in 1998. "I want my clients to be happy with the choices we make together and to feel that I have their best interest at heart. Integrity is not just a word we say here to make ourselves look good – it is who we are.

Dave graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree Business Administration at California State University, Sacramento. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and a Certified Fund Specialist (CFS). Dave has long been a source for financial and investment advice, spoken on KFBK's financial news talk radio program, Money Matters, and has conducted workshops on various retirement and investment topics for thousands of Northern California residents. Dave also develops the workshop content and new advisor training materials for Hanson McClain.

Dave and his wife Kelly have three children and are active in their church.  In his free time he enjoys golf, gardening and wine tasting.
